Graduate Fellowships in Applied Physics (APPH)

The Physics Department at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) offers special Fellowships for graduate study leading to a Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics. These fellowships are for 12 months and carry a stipend up to $30,000 plus tuition remission up to 20 credits and full health benefits. These fellowships are available for study starting each Fall.

A listing of the research opportunities in the department can be seen at http://physics.umbc.edu. The Department recently moved into a new $25,000,000 building with outstanding research facilities.
